Asslama alaikum, Maulana Murtaza Hasan (Imam of The Islamic Academy) received the sad news earlier today that is father has passed away in Pakistan.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un
الذين اذا اصابتهم مصيبة قالوا انا لله وانا اليه راجعون
“Who, when a misfortune overtakes them, say: ‘Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return’.” (Surah al Baqarah, Verse 156).
Please pray that Allah grants Maulana sahib’s father Jannat ul-Firdaus and grants sabr to him and his family. Ameen.
Qur’an Khawani (recitation of the Holy Qur’an for the deceased) will be held at Islamic Academy on Saturday 31st October 2009 at 6.30 PM insha’Allah.
