Due to the high risk associated with the coronavirus causing COVID-19, the following arrangements have been put in place for Jumah salah for the safety of all the congregation:
- Masjid doors will open 1.30 PM
- Jumuāh salah will be at 1.40 PM
- Masjid doors will close at 1.50 PM
- Jumuāh will be restricted to Khutbāh and obligatory prayers
- Sunnāh and other optional prayers should be done at home. – When coming for Salāh to the Mosque, perform your Wudhu at home.
- Bring your own prayer mat to the Masjid or place a tissue or face cloth to at least cover the point of prostration during Salāh.
- After the prayers, please disperse quickly.
- All those in ‘at risk’ groups are strongly advised to pray Zuhr at home.
- Greet each other with “As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh” and refrain from shaking hands and hugs. While in the Mosque, avoid touching each other.
