Alhamdulillah we are pleased to announce that Taraweeh salah (20 rakaats) will take place this year at City Jamia Masjid. We intend to complete a full Quran recitation during the blessed month of Ramadan insha’Allah.
We require all attendees to note our safety guidance when attending the masjid:
Entrance to the Masjid and Salah
- You will be required to have a temperature check on arrival.
- You must wear a mask throughout salah unless you have a medical exemption.
- Please bring a prayer mat and shoe bag
- Please adhere to the 2m and follow instructions from volunteers.
- Perform wudu at home.
- Over 65s are advised to pray at home.
- Please do not bring children under 13 to the masjid for Taraweeh salah.
- Windows will be kept open for ventilation. Do not shut windows if you find them open.
Sisters Area
- Unfortunately, our sisters area will remain closed during Taraweeh due to ongoing building work. Sisters can listen to the Taraweeh on the radio receiver system inshaAllah. Please note sisters cannot follow the congregational salah from home.
Iftar
- Please bring your own dates and water if you need to break your fast at the masjid. In order to allow brothers to break their fast at home, we will delay Maghrib jamaat by 15 minutes.
- Do not bring any food to the masjid.
InshaAllah, the first Taraweeh prayer will be held on Tuesday 13th April, with the first fast of Ramadan being Wednesday 14th April 2021.

الحمد لله سٹی جامع مسجد میں رمضان المبارك میں 20 تراويح اور قرآن کریم مکمل کیا جائےگا۔
تمام نمازیوں سے گزارش ہے کہ وہ مسجد میں داخل ہوتے وقت حفاظتى انتظامات کو اپنائیں۔
مسجد میں داخل ہونے کی شرائط:
-آپ سب کا مسجد میں داخل ہوتے وقت ٹمپریچر چیک کیا جائے گا۔
-سب حضرا ت فیس ماسک پہن کر تشریف لائیں۔اور سارا وقت پہنیں۔
-اپنا جائے نماز اور جوتے کے لئے بیگ ہمراہ لائیں۔
-دو میٹر کا فاصلہ قائم رکھیں او ر انتظا میہ کی ہدایات پر عمل کریں۔
-وضو گھر سے کر کے مسجد میں تشریف لائیں۔
-65 سال سے زیادہ عمر کے حضرات مسجد آنے سے احتراز کریں۔
-13 سال سے کم عمر کے بچوں کو ساتھ نہ لائیں۔
تراويح کے دوران ونڈوز کھلی رکھی جائیں گی۔ونڈو بند نہ کریں۔
خواتين کا ایریا:
تعمیراتی کام کی وجہ سے خواتین کا حصہ بند رہے گا۔ اس لئے سسٹرز اس سال ترا ويح کے لئے نہیں آسکتںیں۔ریڈیو ریسور کے زریعہ قرآن پاک گھروں میں سنا جا سکتا ہے۔(جماعت کو گھروں سے جوائن نہیں کیاجا سکتا)
افطار:
اگرکوئ نمازی مسجد میں افطار کرنا چاہے تو صرف اپنی کھجور اور پانی ھمراہ لائے اور صفائی کا خيال رکھے۔
-مغرب کی جماعت افطاری کے 15منٹ بعد ھوگی۔
کسی بھی قسم کی فوڈ مسجد میں نہ لائیں۔
تراویح 13 اپریل منگل سےشروع ہوں گی۔ان شاء الله
